I brought a printing press over to A.J. Smith Elementary School to show the students how printing was done historically. We printed an image of a "Wide-Awake" portable steam engine that was built in Union Springs in the 1800s. Historic image from Bill Hecht ( SPENCER MANUFACTURING ).
Students get to use an old printing press to make bookmarks! The picture is of a steam engine that was made here in Union Springs on Factory St. pic.twitter.com/UqdKVhMabr— Union Springs AJ (@UnionSpringsAJ) June 14, 2017
