Old Ways Day

Old Ways Day will be Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. All are invited to the celebration of the past at Old Ways Day at the Museum/Ed Center. The museum has planned a day of fun, excitement, learning, and family activities. Horse drawn wagon rides, and Model “T” rides will be given on the museum grounds. Tour the country store, country kitchen, blacksmith shop, one room school house, or the many other exhibits that the museum has to offer. The Herb Garden will be open and there will be many other exhibits and demonstrations of the years gone by throughout the day.  The blacksmith will be at the Forge, the potter at his wheel, there will be alpaca shearing, butter making, rug braiding and hooking, spinning, weaving, quilting and basket making. Live music all day and the Cayuga County Dairy Princess Ceremony will be at 3 P.M. Admission and parking is free. Lunch will be available at a modest price and the gift shop will be open.
